This wide opening pouch is a great choice for coffee shops and coffee roasters to package whole bean or ground roast coffee. It also works well for tea, granola, popcorn, pet treats, cereal, salt, beef jerky, candy, and rice.
Description
- Holds approximately 1lb. of ground coffee, or approximately 12 oz. of whole coffee beans.*
- Heat sealable bag with tear notches above a resealing zipper top.
- Once bag is filled, top opening can be closed via Heat-Sealer, for a full closure, ready for the shelf.
- After a customer purchases the product, the top tab can be easily torn off, revealing the resealable zipper closure.
- Four seam bottom enables this bag to stand up without any fuss or effort.
- Tamper evident tear tab - ideal for retail sales.
- The combination construction features two main materials
- 1 - VMPET: A metalized PET material that gives a foil like appearance. Blocks light and air (decent oxygen barrier), which is important in coffee storage
- 2 - LLDPE: Low Density Polyethylene - A common food packaging film that provides another layer of protection against oil seepage, grease resistance and tearing, but also provides the heat seal functionality of this bag
