What's the right size for my cake box?
When choosing a cake box size, make sure your product has enough room for loading and removing the product. If your 9 inch cake goes right to the edge of a 9 inch cake circle base, then a 9 inch box will leave very little room for reaching into the box to remove the cake. The edges of the box will also be very close to edge of the cake, possibly smashing sides or icing designs on the cake when transporting or loading the cake box. We generally recommend choosing a size 1 inch wider than the size of your cake. The same rule applies to the height of the cake. If your cake box isn't tall enough, then it could smush any of the icing or decorations on the top.
Pie boxes are available in 6", 7", 8", 9", and 10" sizes. All wholesale pie boxes feature a sturdy six-corner glue construction.
